ALIFE BINS, SINCE BEFORE DAY 1

These Ikea storage bins used to have lids and, while still building the Orchard Street Alife shop, we used them as stools to do studio work. Eventually, we bought vintage Scandinavian chairs and these became the studio’s trash bins and stools for our frequent visitors.

Now in storage, lids long gone, these bins were marked by friends over the years and have become part of the alife historical visual heritage.
